On April 23, a delegation led by Zhou Yuan, Deputy General Manager and CFO of Continental Tires (China) Co. Ltd.(CTC), visited Hefei University (HFU). Wang Xiaofeng, Vice President of HFU, met with the delegation.  

Wang Xiaofeng stated, HFU and CTC have successfully established the Continental Class through a decade of the university-enterprise collaboration , setting an exemplary model of dual-system higher education, and the University will continue to support the development of the Continental Class and looks forward to further expanding cooperation based on existing successes, particularly in cultivating high-quality, application-oriented talent to contribute to the automotive industry in Anhui Province.

Zhou Yuan affirmed the achievements of the cooperation and expressed his hope that both sides would further expand their areas of collaboration, particularly in fields such as AI-enabled smart manufacturing, to promote innovative development in university-industry cooperation.

Alexis Gross, HR Director of CTC, noted that mutual visits and exchanges between the university and the company reflect international features and a shared commitment to sustained collaboration. He highlighted students in the Continental Class continuously break through barriers and grow, demonstrating strengths in cross-cultural communication and engineering practice. 

After the meeting, the delegation visited the Exhibition showcasing the Sino-German Collaborative Development and engaged in interactive exchanges with the students of the Continental Class.
